After September 11, 2001, life for a Muslim in America became much more complicated. Even simple acts or traditions came under suspicion. The ritual of Sadaqa, or charity, was one such victim of the paranoia that afflicted much of the nation.
This documentary follows the lives of a group of Muslims as they continue on with their religious tradition despite the controversy about Islamic charities in the wake of the terrorist attacks.
