Virgin Djakarta' by the award winning Egyptian writer Najib al-Kilani (1931-1995). This novel revolves around Jakarta, capital of Indonesia, and some of the islands. It tells the story of the political conflict in Indonesia in the second half of 1965 between the Communist Party under the auspices of Sukarno governor of the country and the logistical support of Communist China and the majority of the Muslim people.
