This book expounds upon Ibn Taymiyya’s theology, with an important selection from his works which affirm causality and the efficacy of causes, whilst also clarifying that one should only rely on God and affirm predestination. The extracts also show his emphasis on the necessity of striving for both religious and worldly good outcomes, and that one of the causes leading to good is supplication to God with sincerity.
