Asmahan Tells Her Story أسمهان تروي قصتها

By: Tabi, MuhammadShare

Language: Arabic

Despite the short life of the Asmahan (1912-1944), her name is a name that sits on the throne of Arabic music and is alongside the names of Umm Kulthum and Layla Murad. She is among the most controversial; from her moment of birth on the back of a ship that her father secretly smuggled from Turkey to her suspicious death in a horrific car accident. Author Muhammad al-Tabi has presented an interesting read.
