Classic Dictionary of Arabic Language by Imam Abi Bakr Shams al-Din al-Razi (d.666 AH). This dictionary was compiled as an abridgment of al-Sahih by al-Jawhari (d. 393 AH), and al-Razi condensed to include only words in fairly common usage, or used in the Qur'an. He stated in the introduction that he included only words he believes were essential for a serious scholar to know and memorize. This dictionary is for the serious student already familiar with Arabic and different verb forms and the like. Two color text.
